It is not uncommon to find people who can sing a simple melody or strum an acoustic guitar. But the pure talent that is found in Sarai Sarinana is not only worth noting, but immeasurably worth sharing.

The first chords Sarai ever learned were G, D, and A. Sarai’s dad taught her to play when she was merely ten years old in her home in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in large, diversely talented family, Sarai witnessed her father and brothers play eclectic music in their home. Mariachi, rock salsa, jazz—these were just a few of the colorful sounds that inspired a young and eager Sarai. It was here that Sarai began her passionate pursuit of musical talent.

A contributing factor to Sarai’s growth as a musician and singer is her travels throughout her academic career. Living in France in 2008 and London in 2011, Sarai cultivated a growing curiosity in the cultural sounds of Europe. Sarai immersed herself in the eccentricities of cultures and industries outside of her own, and she now strives to integrate her rich experiences into her music as vividly as she can.

Sarai currently lives in Los Angeles, California and spends her time collaborating with other musicians and artists like herself. She sings in Spanish and English, and her varied experiences both at home and abroad preserve a unique and refreshing sound in her voice.
